Manage Access to an LLM Application in Semantics Chat
This documentation explains how to restrict access to a specific LLM application hosted on the Semantics Chat interface of Wikit Semantics. Access is controlled by a list of authorized email addresses, ensuring that only specified users can interact with the application.
Prerequisites
- Have access to the Wikit Semantics console.
- Have an existing LLM application.
Step-by-step procedure
Step 1: Access application settings
- Log in to the Wikit Semantics Console.
- In the left navigation menu, click on the LLM Apps tab.
- On the LLM applications dashboard, locate the application you wish to modify (e.g., "Test").
- Click on the three vertical dots (
⋮) to the right of the application card. - Select Manage LLM App.
Step 2: Modify Semantics Chat configuration
- You are redirected to the LLM App Details page.
- Click on the Semantics Chat tab (located among the configuration options).
- In the General section, click on the three vertical dots (
⋮) then on Edit.
Step 3: Define authorized emails
- Scroll down the general configuration modification page to the Authorized Emails section.
- This section controls chat access for users with specific emails.
- Click on the Select emails field.
- Select or manually add the email addresses of the specific users to whom you wish to grant access.
- Once the emails are added, click the blue Save button at the bottom of the page.
Result
The application is updated. From now on, access to this application via Semantics Chat will be restricted: only users logged in with an email address appearing in the Authorized Emails list will be able to access and interact with it.
